RNC at least dialing it back?

I did a quick search and didn't see this covered, so I thought I'd throw it out there, if there are other diaries, then just ignore this one.

     I know it almost seems impossible in the age of Trump, but is it possible that Chairman Priebus' voice is finally starting to crack with puberty, and he's starting to get fuzz under his nose?

     According to an 8/05 article in Time by Zeke Miller, this week the RNC very quietly but firmly rejected two anti gay planks to their national platform from being considered by failing to gain the necessary votes for full governing body consideration.
